The town of Westport is approximately 290 road miles north of New York City in the Adirondack State Park. Located on Route 22, the village hugs the western shore of Lake Champlain. You will find the library in the very center of town occupying a prominent position at the upper end of a large, gently sloping lawn. Look for the distinctive octagonal clock tower.

“As the Westport Library Association is celebrating its official 140th Anniversary this fall, we recognize and celebrate the philanthropic spirit of Alice Lee, our founder, as well as that of our generous patrons of today. We also envision an exciting future, with the continuation and expansion of the traditional and 21st century services the library provides, while serving the needs of the growing Westport community.”
