The Westport Library is a lending library with over 15,000 items, and offers the following services:

- An eclectic fiction mix of hot bestsellers, novels that have received “starred reviews”, and other lesser known yet equally engaging books
- Large Print books

- A wide range of nonfiction volumes
- A charming children’s room packed with fascinating literature for the young
- Videos, DVDs, Audio Books, and Music CDs
- Over 20 current periodical titles
- An inter-library loan service that provides access to many items in regional libraries
- Many borrowed items can be renewed online

- Four public access computers with high-speed internet connections

- WiFi reception extends beyond the walls of the library. Sit on the library steps or library lawn to surf.
