Considerations when downloading audiobooks onto a Mac

When downloading audiobooks onto a Mac, you must use the Web download option even though it says that it is only for the public libraries. The other download options are not supported for a Mac.

When the book is downloaded onto a Mac it goes into the MUSIC section of Itunes  as anything that is MP3 is considered music.  When you find it amongst your music selections you can drag it over to the audiobooks section  – which simply makes it simpler to find in future times.  It will work on your IpodTouch or Iphone  or  computer or other device while it is in Music – it’s just more sensible to put it into Audiobooks.
