Saturday in Westport can be a special day for all sorts of reasons. At the Westport Library one of those reasons is the Knitting Circle. If you have a leaning towards knitting or any of the related handcrafts (crocheting, needlepoint, embroidery, etc.) the Knitting Circle just might be your cup of tea. Participants gather between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm each Saturday to enjoy both their crafts and the companionship of like-minded people. Skill levels range from complete “newbie” to “expert”.

Bring your gear, your enthusiasm, your questions, and your stories. You’ll be in very good company.

And of course attendance is free. You can check out the Knitting Circle schedule in the Event Calendar >>.

Due to the mountains of snow still blocking some driveways, today’s scheduled Book Club gathering has been canceled. You can view all updated Book Club meetings in the Event Calendar.

On Thursday, February 10th, the Westport Library hosted yet another evening of free music. For a lively retelling of the concert and other happenings in Westport that night, read Athena Roth’s engaging blog entry.
