Judith Moore, long time “Friend of the Westport Library”, past library staff member, and enthusiastic participant in the library’s Poetry Group, will be giving a poetry reading in Chazy this month.
The reading will take place at the Alice T. Miner Museum, Chazy, New York on Saturday, February 19th at 2:00 pm.

There is no doubt that the library could not function nearly as well as it does without the generous help provided by volunteers. Yesterday the library’s Board of Trustees hosted a luncheon to express their appreciation for all the work volunteers have contributed over the past twelve months. The spread was delicious, the conviviality all encompassing, and board members even regaled the volunteers with a song (set to tune of Simon & Garfunkle’s “Mrs. Robinson”) that documented the multitude of things they had helped out with.
Did I mention that the food was simply delicious?
Songs, wine, chocolate, and good company, the recipe for a wonderful Valentine’s Day celebration. Jennifer Moore (at the piano), along with some fine voiced friends, entertained the gathering with a broad range of romantic songs .
